My personal experiences are what drive my work, an internally focused examination of self. I create work in pursuit of understanding, a way to explore my thoughts, feelings and experiences. Through looking at the physicality of an interior and the human form, I seek to embody a mental space in a way that is tangible, physical. In making my work I explore issues surrounding identity, sexuality, gender, queer culture and imagery, as well as intimacy and relationships. Working predominantly in black and white analogue photography I combine traditional methodologies with contemporary subject matter.
